1) Make sure you keep your integrity. The most important factor in how successful of a leader you can become is trust. Trust is built on honesty, fairness and good judgement.

2) Keep earning your team's respect. Initially, people will follow you because of something you did that they respect. However, it’s important that you keep earning this respect over time.

3) It’s okay to be a bad loser as it will push you to keep trying harder and set a good example for your team.
